For over 50 years, the Philadelphia Cervical Collar Company has designed, developed and manufactured orthopedic soft goods that exceed the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction levels that are demanded of us.
To accomplish this goal, we consistently maintain a well-defined processing area with the necessary raw materials and finished products to safely and effectively fulfill our customers' requirements. Our employees are continually trained and attend in-house educational seminars in the latest manufacturing and safety techniques.
Our machinery, equipment and plant are designed to accommodate current customer requests and anticipate their future expectations. From a 2,000 square foot store in Center City Philadelphia to a 52,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in a major southern New Jersey corporate center, we have committed the necessary resources to ensure the satisfaction of our customers.
In 2000, we decided to prove our commitment to our employees, customers and the products that we manufacture by investing our resources into the construction of a state-of-the-art facility. We relocated into our new 52,000 square foot facility in the fall of 2001 that consists of 5,000 square feet of offices and 47,000 square feet solely for the manufacturing of medical devices. To ensure future growth can be accommodated without production interruption, we purchased an 11-acre site to double our facility's size.
Located at 1414 Metropolitan Avenue in the Mid Atlantic Corporate Center in Thorofare, New Jersey, we are within minutes of Philadelphia's Center City and International Airport, and New Jersey's Interstates and Turnpike.
In addition to the new facility, we have procured the latest machinery and equipment available for the production of medical devices. In many instances, we have designed and constructed machines specifically for our processes. We are continually improving our productivity and production by engaging consultants and engineers to seek out the best tools for our applications.
When you visit our Company, you will immediately realize that our employees, and their contribution, is the reason for our success. They are our most valuable resource.

Our Offices view
Once you pass through the main entrance you'll realize why we exceed our customers' expectations, teamwork. Greeting you as you enter our facility is our customer support and order processing center. They are friendly and eager to fulfill your requests. Through the center door you will find our production room, executive offices, conference rooms, kitchen and cafeteria.
Our Warehouse view
We believe the foundation to exceeding our customers' expectations is establishing proper levels of raw materials and key supplier partnerships. Our managers diligently inspect inbound materials and control inventory levels. Material handling and storage allocation are incorporated into the training of our employees to eliminate nonconformities before they reach the conversion stage of production.
Our Conversion view
As part of our quality system commitment, we convert all raw materials at our facility and maintain complete on-site inspection before they are released to our processing area. We incorporate the latest methods and techniques to maximize our material yields and waste reduction.
Our Processing view
Continually improving our processing is the basis to satisfying our customers' expectations. We use cell and lean manufacturing techniques to maximize our floor space allocation. Our employees are cross-trained with the knowledge to understand each element of processing and perform station inspections for product deficiencies as part of their overall responsibilities.
Our Shipping Department view
Our commitment to our customers is most evident in the amount of finished product inventory and computerized shipping department. This relates to our ability to ship your orders usually the same day. Inventory is monitored daily and replenished before minimum levels are reached. We pride ourselves on servicing our customers with "just in time" delivery even with customized products designed to your specifications.
